On June 13, 2026, former Major League Baseball players, military members, first responders and their families will gathered for “In the Open,” a community-focused event centered on mental resilience, connection and service. The day featured a live roundtable conversation on mental health followed by exhibition games: Police vs. Firefighters and Hill Air Force Base vs. the Utah National Guard.
Mental health was the topic of conversation throughout the day. Numerous organizations also offered information about specific mental health resources.
